Lunacy Lunacy- Episode 10 & Some Blog Bling

Happy Friday and weekend coming to y'all! And without further ado (because I'm running late getting to my parents') here's the latest edition of

~~LEDBETTER LUNACY~~

**Oops, see, I told ya I was tired. Called myself by youngest child's name (Court Jester) when I was/am, in fact, Castle Wench!

And on other news, Bella at That Damn Expat passed on some lovely blog bling called the Lovey Award to me. Thank you, dear girlie. If you haven't checked out Bella's extraordinary blog yet, please do so posthaste. It is full to the brim with off-the-wall humor and interesting topics. You'll get a hoot out of Bella's blog!

Award fine print says: "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to three bloggers who must choose three more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

Oh, the pickin' & choosin' is the hard part for me, so I'm running my cursor at random over my sidebar's Rockin' Blogs with my eyes closed, and where it lands is gonna determine the winners:

Deb Shucka
Wendy
Jessica

Hahaha

My husband found his phone in the oven once and I swear I didn't put it there. Magda maybe.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm blushing here

Okay, fun "only 3 degrees of separation" kind of story. Note on your sidebar my post about the yellow shoes. Well, Jenni James saw this reading your post and was interested in the Magical shoes because she knew a girl who posted yesterday about shoes...hmmmmm well, she went to my post and it was the same Kimberly, and she knows her "in real life"!!
It is a small world and now because of you I know someone else in the world who is a writer.
Oh, and I am going to one of your awardee's sites later because she shares my name!!!

Woo hoo! Bling! Thanks, Angie.

I hadn't visited Bella's blog before today, but you are right--she IS very funny.

Funny, I was always under the impression the Kitchen Toy Box was the fridge...I used to find chilled playthings within...not as smelly as the burt kind!

Jinksy said...

OOPS - what's 'burt'? Let's stick with blackened or melted. eh?

Janna Leadbetter said...

Mmm-mmm! Will you cook for me? I promise not to leave my Care Bears collectibles in the oven.

Oren, you won't be disappointed if you love grilled cheese. This is the sweet version. I introduced it to Mom, and now it's a fav of hers.

Jenni, how's about a 1-week swap of the gorgeous 6-pack of Reds for 3 surly teens? hehe

Bella, please tell me Magda isn't still in your employ? And you & your blog are worthy of good words. I heart your bad girl blogaroo!

AVT: What you describe here is the thing I love most about this big beautiful Blogarama! The connections and community are wonderful, eh?!

Jessica & Wendy, you're so welcome.

LOL, Jinksy. Yeah, the cold toys wouldn't have been so bad. Oh, how I hated that smoke/fire alarm, and how they loved saying, "Call 9-1-1, Momma's cookin' again!"

Angie Ledbetter said...

Janna, I'll cook for ya anytime. Will even get you a Turducken! :)

I love fried bologna, but fried PB&J scared me, mostly because I do not like the PB part!

If anyone should have an award like this, it is you, my beautiful friend! *smiling*

And I love expat's blog...I'll go check her out today.

Glad Deb won! You and Deb would really like each other, in 3D, as you say!

Melissa Amateis said...

Oh wow! And the smell of plastic melting stays in the house for days! (Don't ask me how I know this...)

I haven't had fried bologna in ages. As for toy boxes, my dog, Rascal, as one. I put her dog toys and rawhides in it. She digs in, takes them out and scatters them around the floor.

Thank you, 2nd Cup. :)

Colby, maybe Cashew Butter instead?

Aww, Kathryn, takes one to know one!

Carrie, I dream of hosting a writers 3D gathering one day. Even have a place on a nearby lake that would be perfect. :)

LOL, Melissa. Plastic pizza pan? And the stank really does stay a loooong time, doesn't it?

Bernthis, there's lots worser things. hehe. I love Bella's bloggy, as well as yours.

hahahaha, Kathryn. You tattler. Guess I'll post a little something too. *wink*

t i m, GI Joe or Stretch Armstrong?

Morgan, what a smart pooch!

Debbie said...

Kathryn told on you! I just love being in kindergarten with you guys.
You cooked the toys? Seriously? That's too funny. And they didn't learn not to put them in there? We'll talk about that later.

~Jamie said...

HA! My favorite part is the kids with their little hats on with the flags! I just love it. This is a great story!

Angie Ledbetter said...

Debbie, I know. I'm gonna kick her *bleep* next time I see her. :) And, yeah, I was really so not "green" back in the day, cooking up all them toxic casseroles. Kids loved nothing better than the excitement of hearing the alarm sound so they could shout their little ditty!

Well, thanky, Jamie. (I made those out of thick cardboard so I don't have to keep drawing them over and over.) :)

Deb Shucka said...

I love fried bologna! And grilled PBJ? A new taste treat awaits, I'm sure. Thanks, Angie, for the award. Carrie's never wrong, about people especially, so I'm ready for the 3-D experience!

Angie Ledbetter said...

Deb S., try that grilled PBJ quick. It's like an instant salty sweet savory good hot meal. LOL. And you're much welcome for the award.

Wouldn't it be soooo awesome if we manage to pull off a 3-D meeting?!
