Happy Friday, friends! Hope the weekend ahead is good and relaxing or fun for you.
Today's episode, like all others, is a real and true recreation of actual events which took place with my family. Everytime I pass through my living room and see the creche (and all the other Christmas decorations) still up, I think of the story of the Bad Christmas Baby. So today, you're privvy to some of the crazy stuff whirling around in my memory banks.
So...strike up the band and warm up the instruments, it's time for more...

Ahaha that was adorable!
Good job!
HAHAHAHAh! Holy cow! The heathen baby! That's awesome! And SO something my kiddos would do! But I'm still waiting 4 last weeks punchline! ahem..?
HAHAHAHAHA
That was damn good.
Drawing and writing skills on these pages show inner child is alive and well. Congrats!
Oh dear. Sad part is, I think there are adults who'd like to do this at Christmastime, if not in the public square, then in their hearts.
That is such a wonderful idea! And beautifully done. We get the visual, the personal/handmade feel, the writing--nothing more to ask.
I have to go back on your blog to take a look at the other episodes.
A perfect Christmas/family story!
Yikes! The green-eyed monster rears it's ugly head at Christmas! Ah, well. Jesus isn't really made of porcelain, so it was probably useful for the kid and not truly harmful to most others.
Wow! That's sibling rivalry gone amok! LOL
LAUGHING! lawd!!!!
Angie - you won the "guess the jelly beans" contest - I can't believe how close you came...within three dang beans -- how do you do that? How do you do the things you do??????!!!!
OH and I meant to say -I'll have the signed copy mailed to you soon.
Oh wow! It's just...wow! Hahaha!
Thanks, Bella. Enjoying your bloggy too.
Now, giddy girl, I added the last frame to last Friday's snafu'd episode...so go take a look! :)
Vodka, just returning the favor. I always laugh at your posted stories!
Jinksy, I.C. is alive and threatening to take over!
2nd Cup, you are right! Lots of grown folks think they are the boss of the universe.
Thanks, Lori & Tut-tut. Appreciate your support for my rudimentary drawing skills. :)
Suldog, you're right. I laughed and laughed reading your drug-induced angel's letter yesterday!
Lori, what a neat thought...sibling rivalry, for sure. hehe
Kathryn, how weird is that? I'll be over to your TENDER GRACES spot in a sec to pass Deb's book along, since I own my own 2 copies! :)
Good morning, Michelle!
Oh wow! What a memory. :-)
LOL! What a charming little lad!
You never cease to amaze us...and keep us laughing. What a way to start off a weekend!
Thanks Angie!
I love these stories and your art work! I'm pretty sure Jesus would not have minded sharing the manger with your son.
King, savior, baby. Really, his list is fairly long. It does inspire a little jealousy.
Angie, If I were Christian, that would have been me. I was the princess and no other baby could have gotten in the way of my glory. That is, until my sister came along when I was almost three... (You could do quite the episode on that little disaster!) Love the illustrated stories. Keep up the great creative work, girlfriend!
HAHAHAHA Classic- wish you had that on video! Makin' the parents proud :-)
awwwwwwww.....that's kinda sad, touching and very FUNNY! poor baby CJ
That is a marvelous story and the illustrations are fantastic! Is it fiction? If it isn't, its even better! :)
Poor little guy... ;)
Hahahahaha! I love it! Kids are hilarious, aren't they? :D I totally am looking up more Ledbetter Lunacy later today! :D
oh and umm... I HEART TENDER GRACES!
Did I win? hehehe :D LOL
Melissa & Wendy, yeah. LOL
*Blush* thank you, Ang.
Thanks, Deb S. I bet He wouldn't mind either...if someone hadn't been jealous and broken his head off! :)
Debbie, LOL.
Thank you, Debra L. I'd LOVE to see your drawn version of similar events from your princess childhood! It's a fun way to get away from working on the ms, by the way. (And, obviously, no artistic ability is required.) :)
Oh, Colby, I've wished so many times for a video camera...but I'd have had to put one of the 3 babies down in order to operate one, so maybe it's best I didn't have one! And, yeah, I've had so so so many "proud" moments over the years. I may have to draw the newest episode of Fresh Prince "falling asleep" in the tub and flooding all the wood floors soon. Gark!
Jill, he and the other two kidlets still remember that episode!
Little Red, I can honestly say that all episodes of Ledbetter Lunacy are TRUE. Now, don't ya feel sorry for me? :)
Yeah, Janna, he was ate up with the jealousy over another "baby" getting so much attention.
Well, hope you enjoy, Jenn!
JENN..YOU WIN, YOU WIN! I'll go tell Kat right now!
Yay! Yay! LOL :D Woo hoo!
LOL!!! How did you ever do it??? Glad I had one:))
Lol! Too sweet! That's your baby!! Love the drawings!
Oh ... poor baby C.J. being upstaged like that. I'll bet he loves this story! :)

As always, I love your little stories.
Congrats, Jenn!
Terri, I guess you just do what ya gotta do. :)
Yeah, kimmi, he's my sha t bebe!
Small, he knows that story's gonna be trotted out and relived every Christmas, so just accepts it now. LOL
Thanks, Barbara.
Colby,
You have to come to BR to meet these kids. I would run through the hinges of hell for those three. Never a dull moment
Oren
Aww, thank you, Oren. I feel the same about your young men! What great guys they are...just like their dad (and mom)!
Great episode! Poor baby J.C. - shattered! Just a little ironic that baby C.J. went on to have a career as snow sculptor... I can still see those snow people on the front lawn.
Deb, unfortunately it wasn't Court Jester who blew out the streetlight with a snowball and built those horrible snow people...that was Fresh Prince. (See how full my hands are??) :)
what a great story!
