Friday Foibles ~~ Ebay Oops!

What y'all been up to? I've been snowed under doing family stuff, cleaning the house, celebrating "Fresh Prince's" 19th birthday yesterday, working on some things for Rose & Thorn (yay for lots of good submissions!), and tackling some editing work.

But I can't let Friday pass without a giggle to get us all in the TGIF mood. Hope your weekend is grand!

If you're unfamiliar with selling items on ebay.com, I can tell you it's of utmost importance to take crisp, clear, bright photos of the items you are putting up for bids. A great shot is almost as important as a detailed description of the item in order to attract and intrigue bidders.

That being said, there just may be a few exceptions to this rule...times when you might need to check for super shiny surfaces that do not reflect kindly upon the photographer...

[I suddenly have an urge to sing, "I'm a little teapot..."] :)

Charlie, I think in a rush to list a bunch of items at once, the seller must've missed the reflection in the kettle. LOL

Asked myself the same thing, Lori. :)

Vodka Mom - glad ya enjoyed!

Diane, hope you're a coffee drinker so you don't need to fire up the tea kettle this morning. LOL

Tabitha - Hear ya! Glad I'm a coffeeholic.

LOL Janna. Can't you see something similar happening to me? Maybe that's why I don't sell on ebay.

AMoS - That made me laugh so loud. Thank you! :D

Donna - You would not believe the stuff you see on ebay. Really. Worth a google for sure.

Scobberlotcher - Pretty much says it all. *wink*

HA! HA! I saw one of these a couple of years ago (also Ebay) where the guy was selling a dining table and the same thing happened with a mirror! It made the rounds as an e-mail! FUNNY ANG! :)

Angie Ledbetter said...

Good morning, Anony! (We all recognize your twangy snippy voice now, dear twin, so get yourself an identity and be proud.) "Wank wank??" LOL

Jessica - I enjoyed it muchly. :D

That was my exact first reaction too, Suldog. ha

Stacy - it made my day, no matter how it came about. (I've seen worse on ebay, so i'm not doubting.) :)

I haven't laughed so hard ,since I don't even know when! That being said,my mind is in a tizzy-wondering what my last Ebay purchase was,and freaking out cause I don't believe I had on Latex gloves when I eagerly opened my new package-eww!!Can Guarantee I never disinfected the item ,a pair of old hand held hairclippers-before electric barber clippers were marketed. They are sitting proudly next to my OLD "BARBERSHOP" collection on my shelf-in the old box it came in! My OCD is now out of control!! Thanks for the EYE-OPENING experience and the Belly laugh!!!!

I am considering buying a new laptop with a TV tuner card which will allow me to connect my Playstation 3 to it and use the monitor as a TV.What will actually be connected to my laptop (cable wise)? From my understanding, all I need is the HDMI cable from my PS3 to the laptop and it will provide the sound and video. I am probably wrong though.
