A Wish for YOU

May your weekend be as beautiful and serene as this painting, or if not serene, then a time to recharge your batteries so that your creativity can flow freely.

Huggage!

Today is certainly a beautiful, sunny day here. Very different than four years ago (Hurricane Katrina). I've spent the morning doing a lot of reflection on where I was and what I was doing during that time. I finally wrote the whole story on my blog. It felt good to talk about it so I can move on and enjoy my life, treasuring today and each day for what it should be. Have a good one Angie!

Hi Angie! All I see when I look at that picture is a volcanic eruption, like Mt. Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD. Natural disasters seem to be a common thread today... :-)

No diaster here. Getting to be with "my" kids everyday now. Not much of a better feeling in the world. We race next week.

I can just look out my window at a scene similar to that and be calmed *smiling*

Happy weekend friend.

Thanks Elizabeth. Found it on Flickr. If you click on the owner's name beneath the graphic, it'll take you to his account and any photos he has stored there.

Mandy - I've been thinking about Katrina on this anniversary, and all those who suffered or died, but also the heroes who sprung up from that disaster.

So right JKS. Glad you're back in swampland, and hope we get together again soon. :)

Oren - I know you're overjoyed when school's in session and your runners come back to the team. Best of luck this season! Those students are some lucky ducks.

Same to you my dear friend goil! LOVED your hour long radio interview. You did all writers proud.

Thank you, Angie. Some serenity is just what the doctor ordered, and I wish the same for you.
