right now, that my kids would stop screaming.

that men get the menstrual cycle and we get all the fun?

A) Good health and long life for all. B) Peace on Earth. C) A killer agent and book deal.;-)

Financial security. And I don't mean gettin' rich.

An endless supply of mashed potatoes and banana pudding! YUM!

Oh, peace on earth, equality for all people, and not just a select few.

An agent, a multi-book deal, and success beyond on my wildest imaginings, not only for me, but all aspiring writers (and definitely for those that follow my blog)!

Oh, and that men never get the menstrual cycle. It's bad enough we go through a type of menopause - trust me, my partner went through it, not pretty, not pretty at all!

Angie: Wow, thanks for asking!
I wish that all my relatives who don't know Jesus would turn to Him, so they can have eternal, abundant life.

Only one wish? There are so many things I would like (getting published, having a stable life, going on vacation). But if I can only have one, I would like to give a real hug to every blogger friend I have.

Huggage!

How I wish I were more noble. Alas, today, to be honest I'd have to say: to be 20 lbs. lighter (but not by being ill).

That our planet be pristine and peaceful.

Freedom from family drama and hardships. My extendeds could use some prayer this week. *hugs*

What about you, Angie?

I'm going to pull the same trick I always did as a child and wish for 100 more wishes. Some of them have even come true.. #2 good health.. #37 true love.. #16 wonderful, healthy children.. #73 good friends (both in real life and in the blogosphere).

I haven't quite mastered #12 yet - that world peace thing..

I'm going to break mine into heavy and light answers...
Heavy -- see Jeanette's answer.
Light -- that I would never have to use the bathroom again. No more interuptions, kids walking in on me...none of it. Wouldn't that be nice?

That my son would be better, my horse would heal and that I would get that BOOK DEAL! And all the other stuff like peace on earth, salvation for all, and that all people would love all people. :) How about you Angie?

Kora Bruce [Dixie Lust] said...

My one wish would be something along the lines of admission/paid tuition & living expenses to the French Culinary Institute and a guaranteed pastry position at Delmonico in New Orleans.

hah. such the foodie.

So tell us! What's your one wish?

I would wish that my children lived long and prospered. Lol, yes I'm a Trekky. :D

Haha - I love what Hilary said. I'd do the same!

If I only get one, it'd be for good health for my kids and husband. If I got others, I'd go for more selfish ones, like a best-seller and skinny thighs.

Oh, heavens... I have no idea! I'll have to think about it and get back... Are you going to do a follow up post on this?

Angie Ledbetter said...

Oren: Swing through a CC's and have a cuppa on me. :)

Jessica: Hope same for ya!

LOL Brigitte.

umm, Miz Schube -- ONE wish. I'll go for the book deal for ya.

Amy: Hoping you get your wish in the form of a future NYTBS book!

Made me laugh, Scott. :)

Jeanette: great wish there!

Wishing all those things for you, Michelle! Huggage doubled and returned. SO good to hear from you! :)

2nd, love the specific addition to your wish. *smile*

Angie Ledbetter said...

Rebecca, wouldn't that be nice?

Hey Janna! Glad you dropped by. Been missin' ya. And, yeah, some of that same type of wish for my family too. :)

EL.OH.EL Hilary and Wendy!

Robyn, hope you get all those wishes. For me...I'd settle for a good long uninterrupted nap today.

Kora: I sent ya an email with a suggestion about all things culinary. :) Hmmm, I think I have too many wishes to pare down to one right now.

B.J., and may the force be with us, to mix SciFi movies. :)

Melissa - I'll wish for you peace and prosperity in all forms.

LOL Helen. Great wishes!

Lady G, probably not. You're most welcome to pick up the thread, though. :)

Good question, do I only get one?

Angie; Loved your post on Rachelle Gardener's blog today-- you are too funny! You always make my day,

happiness all the time:)

CKHB said...

The energy and determination to go after what I want instead of just feeling sorry for myself that it isn't coming more easily.

No more "I want my thighs to magically get thinner." It ain't gonna happen. I instead want the spirit and determination that will make me drag myself to the gym. Here we go!

Angie Ledbetter said...

Nah, Carrie, have a couple! :)

Jen: Was that the ICRS post? hehe

Terri, yes...or at least the majority.

Giddyup, CKHB!

Jeanette Levellie said...

Angie: Yes. Everyone was waxing technical about what it stands for and who should attend. Then you said, "I always thought it meant I Can't Remember Squat!!!"

Liz Wilkey (a.k.a. A Mom on Spin) said...

I want to stop working!!!

Elizabeth Bradley said...

Easy, I knew first thing. For my brain-damaged grandson Ethan to be able to eat again, (no feeding tube), sit up, talk and walk like other four year old boys. That's my wish.

CKHB said...

Gues what I just saw outside? A guy wearing a t-shirt that said:

But sometimes they don't make sense

I would wish for happiness for my children.

Angie Ledbetter said...

Jeanette, guess I won't be querying that agent with my silly comment sitting at her blog. :)

I wish that for you, lizspin!

Elizabeth: I'm praying for a miracle.

I want one of those real bad, CKHB! :)

Good one, Sandra. (BTW, enjoyed your found poem a lot!)

My one wish? That little girl wouldn't blow the dandelion seeds all over my lawn!

Marguerite said...

That I would win The Publisher's Clearing House Swwepstakes, buy a big yacht, and sail around the world!

Angie Ledbetter said...

Shammickite, ain't it the truth?! :)

That would be a dream come true, Marguerite. You got a small taste of that sailing on your weekend escape, I bet.

One wish? Ok I'll try...

To be published in hardcover, win a few awards and become a best selling author who publishes two fantastic books every year that earn enough to put my daughter through college and med school, to help my son start a business and for me to live a comfortable life that will allow me to continue writing as I travel and wait for grandchildren while my husband retires to play golf on a daily basis while we thank God for curing cancer, ending homelessness and bringing about world peace. How's that?

Angie Ledbetter said...

SharonK, love the way you packed 'em in there! :)
