Great article. Makes me second guess my writing. LOL

Ugh. A McDonald's near me has a sign that reads "Clearence 5 Feet" or whatever. The misspelling of clearance drives me CRAZY. You'd think someone at the sign company would catch it and say something.

I'll go check out the article.

The bane of my existence really- not to say I don't ever have my missteps... ;)

MY EYES!!!!

And I once saw a McDonald's with a professional-quality sign that said, "Want something deferent? Try our cherry pie."

I guess that pie was well-known for its respectful submission to others...

Funny...in a sad sort of way. I'm amazed at how many signs are misspelled. It does hurt the eyes. (furiously looks at own spelling before hitting post...)

Spelling is a great skill that is dying. I seldom use spell check. My words are very simple to spell. Spelling errors on signs are a signal to me. Beware.
