Weekend Plans?

So, what's on your drawing board for the weekend? I'm planning on resting, enjoying quiet time, working on the manuscript, reading and tweaking some poetry. Then there'll be some much deserved naps and bouts of loafing around.

Hope whatever it is you're craving, you get a bunch of it!

Thanks for all your good thoughts about our drought-y sizzling heat here. Would you believe we finally got some rain today? [Never underestimate the power of Blogland!]

So if I write a post complaining about all the rain we've gotten on the East Coast, we might finally get some nice weather????

I woke up to a small rain this morning. It was great. :-) Enjoy your weekend. Mine is similar, I hope. LOL

Sounds like a great weekend!

I'm planning on finishing edits on a short story and doing a submission, tackling Twitter, Facebook and Blog co-ordinations and drinking lots of green tea while reading the five books I have going at the same time!

Smiles and blessings to you this weekend and to all the bloggie friends!

Yard work and dinner with friends. Can't get a lot better unless my family was at home. The rest on the road, having fun and working.

There is a lawn swing and a book just calling my name. That's where I hope to spend much of today!

Well, Angie- the moving truck comes Monday morning so this weekend I will be doing some last minute packing! It's kind of exciting now, knowing that we will be in our new home soon- hopefully sooner than they are telling us, but that's another story!
I'd rather have your weekend, but we've been waiting for this for a long time now, so actually, I couldn't be happier!
Have a great one, hon!
:)

You got it, Terri!

Red Bird, I'm excited for you! The beginning of a whole new life. You writing any poetry? And congrats on your inclusion in that nifty anthology. :)

Thanks, Angie!
Yup, still writing my daily poetry- it helps, you know?!
I hope I won't miss too much when I'm off-line- and hopefully that will be just a short hiatus!

I hope you enjoy your unstructured and damp time. It's sunny here today - I need to get out in it while it lasts. Maybe with a book and some lemonade on the patio.

Marguerite, we really did, for almost 30 whole minutes! (I took a photo of raindrops on my windshield.) :) Hope y'all get some too.

Kat, LOL. As if...on the picture comparison and the agent line-up! *snort*

Thanks, Deb. You get some down time on your patio and escape through the book pages.

I was complaining about how rainy and cold it was. That was before it got hot here!

Send some rain to south central TX! We would dearly love that.

I'm working this weekend on an author's book. She wanted an edit before she sent it off to two agents who've asked to look at it. But tomorrow, I'm taking off to have lunch with friends. Yay!

Your weekend sounds relaxing. Don't you have to vacuum or do laundry or wash the car?
Anyway, I hope you ENJOY.

The library notified me today that it had three books waiting for me. I had ordered all the books by Murderati authors that I could find in the system. Now I've got three at once, and another one in transit. I think I have to lock myself in my room and read for the next .....

Angie Ledbetter said...

LOL, Morgan. That'll teach ya. :)

Helen, sounds like a nice day you had lined up. (And, hey, I'm all about sharing, but we don't have enough wet stuff here yet to start sendng to our neighboring states!) :)

Sandra, do come up for air and food now and then, k?

Yay for the rain! I'm just editing. And editing some more. And then when I'm done with that, I'll edit even more.
