Through the Viewfinder

Happy Friday, friends. You've made it through another long work week, or been cooped up with the kidlets while still trying to be productive, or maybe you've been twirling on your hamster wheel and need a break. Whatever occupies your weekdays and nights, may you get a change of scenery and activity this weekend!

I love photography, and since I didn't have any time behind the camera this week, today's abstract comes from the Internet.

What is it?
~~~
The first person to guess correctly will be the lucky recipient of a prize of my choice. {Continental US only...sorry, my other-land friends.} So study the photo below and take a stab at it. One guess per customer, please.
~~~

Now, go do something nice for yourself and/or someone else so you can fully enjoy the day!

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit, Terri! You got the answer right out of the chute. :) Send me your address, k?

It looks beautiful. Isn't nature the greatest artist of all?

An old gas mantle? A beautiful silk brocade ball or circular cushion? Doesn't look quite right for a natural Jack Frost creation, but very beautiful...Possibly a detail in a painting?

Wow! She's fast. :D

Have a great weekend, Angie. Follow your own advice, too, and do something for you, ok?

I think it looks like fabric. Sort of a woven fluer de li (sp?) pattern. Frost on glass? REally? Oh, I love the 'butter my butt & call me biscuit' line! I'll have to use that in a play! tanks!

I didn't even get a chance to guess! I would have been wrong anyway. :(

Frost was my first guess, but it also somewhat resembles the designs on U.S. currency (a bit too haphazard for me to have guessed that, but it does resemble it some.)

I didn't know frost was that pretty up close!

I wasn't going to say frost.

I thought it was lettuce!

I was busy working today and didn't get to play along. May I have a prize anyway? I'd like cash, please.

I've seen that pattern many a time on glass doors during the freezing cold winter. :-)
