Tickling Your Funny Bone

According to some majorly reputable scientific studies, laughter has a ton of health benefits including stimulating the immune system and lowering stress hormones. And really, what's not to like? In a grumpy negative world, we all need to laugh more and laugh loudly.

So...how ticklish is your funny bone? Take this online quiz of 20 questions and find out. And help the rest of us who love to bray like startled donkeys at least a few times a day by tellings us the funniest thing you ever saw or experienced.

I may just have to dig up an award for you if you make me laugh out loud. Wouldn't you adore adding this sorta bling to your blog?---->

Not a lot - but I'm glad jackass could see the joke. I think I've probably blogged some of my own best funny moments, but funniest things I've seen? Well, that would be telling!

Okey dokey ready to bray. :D

I have dogs on my mind today so I can only wOOf!!

In my dog, Disney's 2nd year of life, she started developing this odd walk on evening walks. Took her to the vet, he insisted her legs were fine. Still when I walked her she'd do a skip every so many seconds. Took her back to vet and made then xray her--all was fine.

Next day hubby said let's walk her in the street as opposed to the sidewalk. No skip, no odd walk. ...turns out my lil' Disney was a crack skipper--would skip over all cracks in sidewalk.

Another, I just had my car tuned up. A week later I was checking under the hood... I saw a small can-like thingy. I was sure the mechanic had screwed up my car. So I went directly back to the shop and in front of six men demanded, DEMANDED they remove their careless object they left behind. *lowers head and wraps a towel aroud blonde head* It was the OIL FILTER! ...how was I supposed to know what an oil filter looked liked?! It was all I could do to walk out of the shop with my head held high..

This morning, I watched the Doritos commercial with the snow globe from last night's Super Bowl - HILARIOUS! Funniest thing I've seen yet today. :-)

LOL I'm probably not that ticklish. Though I've been told I smile alot, but I'm not a laugher or giggler.
Great post though. When I do laugh, it feels so good!

Hmm. That donkey picture looks a bit too much like me in the morning...

You want something funny? Five minutes with my kid will have you laughing your head off. I laugh at least a dozen times a day! Today I was potty training him and he kept trying to get into the potty headfirst. And that was just this morning :-)

P.S. I gave you a shout-out on my blog today. Just wanted to let you know!

I love quizzes--I really don't know why I'm not in the business of creating quizzes people can take to while away their free time at work. (or, alternately, their not-free time at work during which they are procrastinating doing work.)

I scored a 130, and I'm quite pleased about it.

The thing that tickled my funny bone this weekend the most was finding a birthday card for my brother with a cute little girl named named Samantha on it. "Little Samantha was told she didn't have street cred, but that didn't stop her from performing gangsta rap anyway." And then there was cute gangsta rap music to go along with it, and we all wiggled our butts like my 5 year old niece ordered us to.

Donkeys are the BEST. Even better than mules, is what I say.

:-)

Debbie, we may be related. Is yours located in the nether regions too?

kimmi, I laughed picturing sweet doggie hopping over cracks! And so sorry for the mechanical humiliation. hehe.

LOL, Carrie. As if!

Michelle, glad to brighten your day just a bit.

You know what's the funniest, Kathryn? Your rendition of the interpretive monkey dance performed in N.O. hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Melissa, you remind me I must google all those up since I missed the commercials yesterday!

As long as you have smile opps, Jessica, that's a good thing. :)

Sharla, you a girl after my own black heart. LOL

L.C., the whole potty training thing is laugh-worthy...or else you'd cry. *Just changed the worst diaper in history on one of my great nephews!* And thanks for the blog love!

130, Amy? You go! Durn! :)

I can never remember any jokes so my humour is purely observational although in hindsight asking my boss [who is from Liverpool[, ‘what was it like seeing the Beatles grow up in your younger 30’s back in the 60’s’ was probably ill-advised.

Next time I want a pay rise, perhaps I’ll wear a disguise so she won’t recognise me. I was thinking of donning my Sesame Street's Big Bird outfit as its much underused of late.

I scored a 95 and it wasn't higher because sometimes in my youth, I may have caused some people stress.

When I was 17, I spent several weeks with my older sister who was a teacher in Chicago. She was engaged and neither I nor my parents had met him. One weekend, Ann and I drove from Chicago to Oscoda, Michigan where he was stationed so I could meet him and Ann could see her love. His parents went along for the ride.

It was an awkward trip for my sister but I enjoyed it. When we arrived, Ann introduced me to my future brother-in-law and I pulled out a black spiral notebook and a pen and proceeded to write copious notes on everything Dan did or said that weekend. I told him that my parents had asked me to take notes and assess his acceptability. I kept it up the entire weekend, even in restaurants. My poor sweet b-i-l bought my act hook, line, and sinker and was quite worried he wouldn't meet my parents' standards, especially when I frowned while writing my notes.

He was so relieved when I told him I was just kidding that he forgave me. However, he never trusted me 100% after that. Ah, that memory is one of the reasons I scored only 95.

too much pressure. But I agree, laughter really is the best medicine They say that even if you just smile, it will make you feel better.

t i m, laughing! (I have plenty of costumes if you're afraid Big Bird will be recognized.)

JyLnC...oh yeah! A trick carried out over a long time. Love it. :)

So true, bernthis. *smile*
