Spotlight On...Christmas Wishes

*As a special Christmas gift for
all y'all, please scroll down and click on the video at the very bottom of the page above Mr. Al E. Gator!!* :)

I hope you have a great weekend. Don't forget to spend some time just relaxing and doing some battery recharging. It's good for the soul!

While we're in this busiest time of year, what are you wishing Santa leaves under the tree for you? Or better yet, for someone else? How about leaving suggestions for what you wish for other bloggy friends who come by here regularly? Here's an example: "I wish for everyone in the agent searching process to find a friendly pair of eyes." Or, more personally, "I really hope ________ finishes her story to submit to that anthology;" "Wishing ______ gets that new treadmill she wants for Christmas."

Remember...sometimes wishes do come true. And wouldn't it be nice if we all hoped/prayed for each other and great things began to happen in the New Year? And it's nice just to spread some cheer around and let others know we're thinking of them. Huggage to y'all!

I wish for my best friend to find that One Perfect Moment - a moment so pure, she blinks back tears, for she knows that One Perfect Moment is special, is true, is so wonderful and anticipated and wished for and NEEDED, that she recognizes it when it comes...

I wish that more than one of my blogger friends would get that call from the agent that they've been waiting for!!! So we can all celebrate with them!!!

Boop, wishing same thing for you! (Preferably in the form of a book contract.) :)

Wouldn't that be great, Terri? Wish wish wish!

My wish for my bloggy friend Terri, is that the new construction business does a booming business!

That's a great one, Linda! Hope 09 brings tons of building for them.

I wish for all of my writerly bloggy friends that their writing would go as smoothly as possible and the ideas would flow. And for those waiting on agent submissions, that their inboxes would be filled with requests and even offers!

I wish a certain blogging gal will get another freak snowstorm so she can have a white Christmas. I also wish that by sometime tomorrow I will be able to stop laughing at the "gift" she posted at the end of the blog. Brilliant!

Thanks, Michelle (mlh). Glad you liked my Self-Elfing. My wish for you all is more laughter in the coming year...or at least big smiles. (And a few writing acceptances wouldn't be bad either!) :)

Angie, What do you mean you don't like kitties? I have a message for you from my six cats (that's right 6! Deal with it!) Caramel, Dusty, Tiger Lilly, Scampy, Zoro and Emma. They say, "Meow!" And, you know what that means? No, I didn't think so. All I can say is, if I were you, I'd watch where I step...

Oh, and by the way. For Christmas - I hope that all your deepest most beautiful dreams come true.

Angie Ledbetter said...

Kimmi, same wishing same for you...and a ton of books sold when it comes out!

Debra, hahahaha! My 3 teens eat cats for snacks, so send 'em on! :) Hope all your best dreams materialize also. Thanks for stopping in. Loved your blog.

That pic of a red tree is so pretty! Hmm, I don't know about wishes. There's lots of them :-)

For all my blogging buddies...I wish you joy in the holiday season and joy in your writing!

Let's DO pray for each other! I pray that we all continue to dream big, to love our friends, and we find success, whatever that success might be.

Angie Ledbetter said...

Jessica, hope Santa brings you everything on your wish list.

Same to you, Melissa! (Your prize is in the mail for the tree contest.)

Vodka Mom, yes! Thanks for visiting. :)

I hope that everyone realizes their fondest dreams and enjoys a warm holiday season with friends and family. May health and happiness turn up on everybody's doorstep, come Christmas Eve.

I further hope that I will finish my garden book this winter! Perhaps Santa will drop a big sack of ambition, gumption and stick-to-it-tiveness down my chimney? Here's hoping! /Deb

P.S. Very cute elf family and very athletic dancing! A lot like "Dancing with the Stars," only with funny shoes and striped stockings.
