LOL! But what wondeful memories! We used to camp to and went quickly to a timeshare after a few years of cold and wet and hard grounds!

Been there, done that. Our tent crashed around our heads. Not much fun that night. We have had lots of good times in the woods since then.
See ya,
Oren

It's like the scene in the Lindsay Lohan movie (when she was cute and not so obnoxious) - that remake of the Patty Duke movie....and damn if the name hasn't escaped me. :))

Such a cute and creative way to share a story! :)

So funny!!!! Reminds me of many Davis family outings of the past, expecially the LAST ONE. We were in the middle of a LARGE lake in a canoe when a violent storm came up. It was the first time I actually thought for sure I was going to die. My poor husband has never heard the last of it either!!!!!!! lol

I love your Friday blogs. I can relate to the camping trip. In the end and looking back, we have great memories and laughs of that time.

Oh, Terri, I have so many of these "fun" trips to share. Life stranger than fiction. :)

Oren, remember that Scout campout at Avondale when a tornado blew up and the temps dropped 30 degrees? 4 of us women with a passle of kids huddled in our tent trying to stay dry and warm....and all the men ran for the vehicles? Ah, the stuff life is made of!

Jen, welcome, and I hope you'll come back. I'll be over to check your blog out shortly.

Lori, Parent Trap? :) Yeah, it was sorta like that, but with babies involved instead of people who could take care of their own selves. LOL

Thanks, Janna. But I admit borrowing the idea from Holly at June Cleaver Nirvana, whose "drawerings" are much better. I will one day figure out how to scan!

Colby, have you ever had a close encounter with a Cajun man? Nuff said! :)

Barbara, we share all these lovely "vacation" memories of R&R, eh? *snicker*

Ang, our trips were definitely memory-makers!

That's the one! I remembered it in the shower this morning. Duh! I'm so slow.

I want to be a castle wench, too. Instead, I've decided to be a saucy wench. Started my own food blog. ;))

I could only get my two guys to try camping once. It wasn't pretty and the experience was never repeated again. :>)

Sul, glad to pay back a few giggles for all the ones I've enjoyed at your blog.

Why, thank you, Deb!

Dear Saucy Wench (Lori)...how's about a blog location address or link or something?

jylnc, Oh boy, I hear ya. But the memories will always be there. :)
