What are we gonna chat about today?
You're most cordially invited to throw out a question, suggestion, comment, or something that makes ya go "Hmmmm?"Or post a link to your best ever post or recommend a site or blog for us to check out. Thursdays are reserved for "talking amongst ourselves," so let your imagination run free.
And/or feel to continue with the limericks from yesterday. If you've already done one, that's okay, post another! There are some real winners there. I might just have to get out the ol' prize bag and do a poll of the top 3 entries for y'all to vote on.
So don't be shy, and you quiet readers -- it's time to delurk and let your bloggy voices be heard. :) Come on...we promise not to bite!

Yesterday on my site I posted six sonnets that my readers had sent in. I was especially surprised with how excellent they were, since only one of the poets considers herself a 'poet.' You can read them by clicking on my name.
How on earth is everyong writing so many words for the NANo thing a day? I find myself unable to shut down the world around me. What do you do to stay focused?
I got nothing for you I'm afraid! I had a fabulously busy blogging day yesterday and I am all tapped out. Maybe one of your readers will give us both some inspiration.
Yeah, I had big plans for the NANo, too. But after work and the writing I have to do for school, I'm too pooped to pop.
Maybe I missed it before, but I just noticed the link to your "Seeds of Faith" book. It seems to be out of stock at Amazon, do you know where one could find a copy?
Doug, isn't poetry the neatest thing? It never fails to surprise. I'll stop by your place shortly, and thanks for visiting mine.
Terri, turn off all the noise, or if you can't work in a vacuum, maybe get an ipod or sound machine for background white noise to help ya get in the zone? Or if those don't work, how about this: I'm putting on my pointiest cowboy boots and coming to kick your bahonkus if you don't have 3,000 words by the end of today! hehe
Debbie, the blogging buds here will do that for sure! They're just full of good info and inspiration!
embee, try for smaller chunks, like maybe 500 words a day. You've already got a full plate!
Linda, sometimes they say they're out of copies, but aren't. grrrrr. But I have plenty here at home if ya want me to send ya one. :)
My secret to NaNo climbing word count. I do not set an amount for each night. What I do is outline during the week and if I have some quiet time during the week, I work like a mad woman. But most of my typing is done on the weekends when the boys are out during the day and my husband is working on something of his own like school work.
Other than that, I lock the door and put on the headphones with some music and shut the world out around me for a few hours. It's amazing how much you can type in a few hours.

This thing on?
*tap tap tap*
So, I just flew in from Missouri. And boy, are my arms tired! ...
:P Carry on.
Ang, good suggestions all.
L.O.L., Janna!
I can't think of another limmerick at the moment. So I'll just give you a link to one of my older posts about genre.

Sorry, I'm still new in doing this link in comments section thing. I won't say it's my best post. Only one that I like.
My thoughts are on the weekend. Will be working on the HfH house on Sat. Only a week left til owner takes possesion. I've hurt my back, it's supposed to be cold, snowy on Sat, soooo, I'll muddle through. Lovely Thursady to you, Angie.
Well, nothing special to talk about, but I just noticed that my link on the sidebar has a photo attached. That's a nice touch, and I thank you!
Thanks, MLH. I'll go check it out when I finish the project at hand -- tomorrow's Ledbetter Lunacy edition.
Kimmi, isn't doing a Habitat house a blast? We did a blitz build locally a few years ago, which means we had to have it completed in a week. The majority of the workers were women. Yay!
Sul, you're most welcome. (You can do the same at your blog home with one of the blogger functions.) :)
Hope you've recovered from your civic duty by now.
I'm just darn excited about going to see Quantum of Solace tomorrow. I plan to go by myself, grab my M&M's, popcorn, and soda, and settle back to enjoy the ride. :-)
Melissa, that sounds like a really nice plan. Enjoy!
Rut roh, Small...going to look now. :)
I'm grateful for one last (comparatively) warm day before winter sets in. It's sunny and in the 50s and I may just have to go for a walk!
All this chat about winter. We get 4 days of it usually in March around Mardi Gras. Our winter is wet and gray for weeks on end.
Love the sunshine.
Oren
Oh ... I hope tagging you wasn't too much of a headache. :)
The part of the game that I didn't disclose in the post is that anyone who comments to the Tagged post, will be tagged. But .. don't tell anyone.
Take Care!
Small Footprints
I'm in a somewhat bitchy mood today, so I'll spare you my thoughts.
I'll be nicer tomorrow, I promise.
Rachel, hope you got to enjoy a nice walk.
Yep, we don't have much of a winter to speak of, Oren. Nice in a lot of ways, though, except no big pretty changing of the leaves.
LOL, Small. Too late. Unless bloggers read it here, they'll get a surprise when my quasi-tag entry posts itself on Saturday.
(((((((Wendy)))))) there's a hug for your bad day. Hope the weekend is much better.
Check out your awards at my blog!
Well it seems I have a hair fettish this week. I only wish that writing the article I'd like to submit would become a fettish. Can't get motivated.
I posted some photos from my visit last weekend to the Chicago State Street Macy's store with their Great tree and holiday windows. Stop by my blog for a touch of Christmas spirit.
Have nothing to talk about, really...I'm trying to find my Christmas decorations but can't seem to figure out where we "hid" them when we moved in this summer. Sigh.
AVT, Whuttt? Coming posthaste.
Heidi: BIC/FOK (Butt in Chair/Fingers On Keyboard!) :)
jylnc, the holiday post really did put me in the spirit. Lovely!
Colby, you're not doing a Dew Tree?????
Thanks for the invitation, Angie. On 3/17/08, I posted "Tattered Remains" on my "Waltzes with Words" blog... a poetic essay about dreams, inspiration and writing. The link is
