Friday Foibles ~~ Insurance Insanity

I know I'm crazy, but I have this recurring fantasy involving all those insurance agency mascots you see endlessly on TV. (Who says advertising doesn't work?) My fantasy goes like this ~~

Scene 1: The duck eats the gecko...

Scene 2: The caveman eats the duck...

Scene 3: Mayhem arrives and creates a little chaos:

Final Scene:  The handsome Allstate guy and cool chick Flo run away together and open  their own insurance agency called Progressive State. Think of the cool ads they'll make with the initials PS. ("PS -- We've got the best insurance for you!")

Okay, now you know the depths of my insanity and the wonkiness that is my brain! :D

I'll be back to "normal" next Friday and post a Boudreaux & Thibodaux or blonde joke. Have a great weekend!

Doh, I forgot. You've got til midnight tonight (Friday) to make a caption for that squirrel photo above for a chance to win a prize. :)

What a hoot! And leave your brain alone; it's doing just fine.

Have a great weekend.

Kittie, it scares me sometimes. LOL.

You have a wonderful weekend yourself! xo

LOL!As if to prove a point about my ol' brain, I wrote "...that squirrel photo above..." when it should've been "below," as in previous post. :P

HA! It shows me you have a VERY creative brain!

HA! This is great! I wouldn't call you insane; I'd use the term brilliant :D

I found you thanks to Kittie's blog! So very happy that I did!

Cheers,
Jen

You are MADE of awesome sauce, Angie! I love that gecko! He's almost as cool as you. Almost! :-)

Wendy -- I'll give ya a piece of my mind anytime you need it. LOL

Thanks, Jennifer.

Jen, so glad you stopped by. I love Kittie. :)

Made me laugh, Hilary! Glad to be back, and enjoying your fab photos as always.

Elana - Why, thanky ma'am. :D

Thanks, Jeannette & Liza.

Ahem, Robyn, I'm just a tad cooler, but only because I know and acknowledge my nationality. HA!

Personally, I would like to see the AFLAC duck attack Flo. I can't stand her. Actually, considering how irritating the ads from the other guys are, its no wonder that I'm still with State Farm.

...Oh the damage that Mayhem could unleash upon Caveman, painful and yet hilarious at the same time ;)

You forgot about the General.

It's so great to see you back in blogland! Based on your work with the insurance symbols here, I think someone ought to hire you for a marketing job. :-)

Angie Ledbetter said...

Tim -- LOL!! Ditto on the State Farm coverage. :D

True dat, Elliot! Would be so much fun to see THAT ad on TV.

Travis -- I wondered if he was local to the southern regions. (Can't stand his snarky little self or the jingles.)

Deb -- Teehee. Always dreamed of sitting around the board room at some dream agency like the one depicted on that old show "30 Something," just schmoozing all day and throwing around ideas. :D (Good to be back.) Hugs
