Friday Foibles ~~ You Might Be a Redneck...

Thanks to good friend Jamie for forwarding me these new examples of Redneckism. May they start your weekend off with a smile!

If you're in need of some good short stories, a bit of flash fiction and/or lovely poetry, check out our spring issue of Rose & Thorn Journal just out yesterday.

Now...go forth and enjoy thyself. And do something nice for somebody else along the way, ya hear? :D

particularly love the "Redneck Grill"! Scary that I've actually seen similar things. LOL

My former brother-in-law sent me these last week. There's a bunch more, all hilarious. Enjoy your weekend.

Sharla - Hear ya! LOL

Kittie - Funny how these funnies zoom around the Internet, isn't it? Great weekend to you too.

I don't know which I liked better, the bumper sticker or the calamari! Thanks for my Friday laugh. Love.

I must say, I do like the redneck chandelier. But I'm not sure you can actually qualify that as redneck. It takes some smarts to know which wires to use to power those bulbs without shocking the life at of the person.

Angie, how I have missed these. The toilet was great--I'm assuming that was charcoal, right? LOL...

Deb - Thank YOU for the laugh! Calamari indeed. :D

I thought the same thing Michelle. Somebody at least had some electrical training.

LOL Karen. Let's hope they're brickettes and not something else.

L.T. - I saw a great one the other day that made me laugh long and loud: "Nuttier than a squirrel turd." heheeeeee

I'm so glad Janna. Yay!

Awww Diane, thanks. Yeeehawwww!

When did you visit our house? Graduation huh. Only seems like yesterday that CJ was grumbling about playing baseball. Great kid that is going places. Michelle, yeah you are a redneck. Welcome to the club. See ya soon.
