A lot of self-help books, and very helpful critique and writing partners. Also, my husband. When I'm stuck I can count on him to get me going again with ideas.
Prayer. It calms me when doubts come and while sitting still the ideas come.

The best thing in my writer's tool box? The first thing that comes to mind is reading. Reading good books always inspires me to write.

My Mac laptop, and my friend Steffie, the editor.
I'm echoing several other people's thoughts here, but for me the most important thing is the occasional person to bounce an idea off of. They're hard to cram in the toolbox (har har), but it's nice not to work in a vacuum all the time.
