Monday Brain Food

Here's hoping for a great week ahead. To get us started the right way, some food for thought:

Which of your personal dreams or goals, if like this beautiful cactus flower with its very short lifespan, would you nurture and encourage to bloom today?

4:30 A.M. (glorious birth)

9:30 A.M. (forever closing)

Whatever your dream, may it live a long and gratifying life!

My millionaire status. I'd choose it, nurture it, and grow it. Time to buy that lottery ticket. ;)

Seriously, I'd probably choose to nurture my fiction side. So that's what I'm going to do. Thanks for the kick in the pants, doll. :)

My dream is to write faster, become more prolific--like The King's volume. Ha!

Besides writing, it is to see my husband follow his new-found passion:)

My dream is to have some free time to write!
I seem to have lost it all! Thank God winter is on the way! :)

my dream to not ever smoke again (it is day 9 cold turkey) and to lose weight, exercise, eat healthy and be able to breathe when exercising!
I guess my dream is to be healthy and set an example for my daughter hope it's not too late!

World Peace. Okay, where's my tiara? Don't I get a tiara for answering a question with 'world peace'? : )

As a writer, I guess mainstream publication is the goal I desire most - here, now.

Then, there's the desire to reach the pinaccle of happiness and remain there for the rest of my very long and very productive life.

Great question, but you should be ashamed asking people to think on a Monday morning. That's just cruel and unusual punishment. : )

Dream -- balance mothering with writing. To have kids and characters that know I love them.

My dream? I don't even know my favorite color. I think I want to KNOW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that when we die, that we don't have to lose the people we love. I don't need to know exactly what happens or how or even why. I just want some kind of promise that it's a gain and not a loss. Can we write in heaven, or is it all written already?

To deepen my relationship with my husband.

How would you answer this question?

Have a great day, Angie. :-)

After losing my condo in Galveston to Hurricane Ike, last year, my dream is simply to live on the beach and write my memoirs and paint sunsets. :)

Personal goal: To write a book that would impact lives for the better. After that, to have my children and their families all healthy, content and wise.

Whoa, that stuff's kind'a deep! How 'bout some crawfish? :0

That dream is going to be like a wish with a birthday cake. . . mine alone. . .

Go get 'em, Lori!

Becca, I hope you take one day in the coming week to do just that.

Terri - that's really sweet of you. I hope you both grab those passions and wring the life out of 'em. :D

Carol, how's about TAKING a day and just doing it for yourself?

Power and perseverance to you with those goals, Lucia!

Scott - I did give you a tiara for that answer, but then took it right back for the snarky end comment. LOL :D

Wendy - I've got a feeling you're already doing both. Kudos.

Hope your son fits hand in glove, Diane.

Suzanne - Interesting. Hoping/praying you get those answers.

Nice one, Deb. Hmmm, how would I answer? To get my little birds safely out of the nest and to push through with my writing projects. Oh, and that Rose & Thorn be wonderfully popular and inspirational. Thanks. :)

Marguerite - I hope you get that beachy existence soon, friend.

LOL Karen. Ponder first, peel crawfish second.

Here's to 'em, Jill. So glad you're living the dream. Yay!

AMoS - light 'em up and blow 'em out, girl!

From the poetry I've read, you already have a special way with the craft, Red Bird.

Thanks Dorraine. (I wrote mine above.) What about yours? :)

Coach Oren - I'm sure with your influence, those kids will be winners as runners and in life!

That's a tough one. Mostly it reminds me to live each day to the fullest. Thanks :)

Thanks for the post, Angie!

My dream is that my girls find their passions in life and that Mama keeps cranking out novels.

Aside from landing a book deal, my dream is to get through this fall without having a nervous breakdown.

Yeah, I've been a little busy.

Awww, and I had just the outfit to go with that tiara. Oh, and me, snarky? Really? Seriously? Surely not! Ha! Now I'm off to read your squash post.

I have this wacky dream to accomplish more than I by myself am capable of. Then when someone says, "How did you do that? You're not that smart!" I can say, "I know. But God is."
