Swamped!

Graphic by mackenzienicole

Happy Monday to you, dear Blogorama friends. I've been swamped the last 3-4 days and haven't been able to Tweet or get around to visit your blogs and leave comments. But on the positive side, we're making lots of headway with changes to the newsletter, website and such over at Rose & Thorn!

That's what I've been up to (along with all the other real life stuff)...what about YOU?

What am I up to? Oh, the same old same old - sodomizing farm animals and plotting the overthrow of the United States government (not necessarily in that order.) And I hit the lottery over the weekend for $126,000,000. Nothing interesting, I'm afraid.

I've been on vacation, so not much accomplished on my end.

Good luck with Rose and Thorn!

Something's in the air, I haven't been on Twitter or blogging last weekend either. Work and life do call. (Wish I'd been having as exciting a time as Suldog, but didn't.)

I've blogged and commented less and less lately. Vacationed. And tried to stay cool in this horrid 3-digit temp heat!!!

Just got a request for even MORE revisions (third round) from an agent. Now I'm confused. Do I just keep doing revisions until he stops making suggestions? He welcomed me to resubmit it but didn't specifically say that I should make the changes and submit it back to him.

Been working, and caring for my elderly parents, (now that's a trip,)and trying to do some writing in between. Other than that just hanging around watching baseball-Go Tampa Rays- and preseason football-Go Bucs.

Oh, and walking my dog and feeding the hubbie.

Sounds like you've got your hands full, as usual. Good luck with everything! I'm getting ready for my vacation, however Hurricane Bill just might interfere, since they say that he's headed up the east coast. That would be par for the course! lol

I've been busy on the interwebs, pricing tickets to Massachusetts. My master plan is to fly back there and throw myself at Suldog, who will fall instantly and helplessly in love with me. He will shower me with gifts of money, lots of money, in an attempt to win my love, but I will rescue the goats, take the money, and run, golddigging animal activist that I am.

I'm planning on coming up for air next week when school begins. Then I can look at myself head to toe and reassess.

What a gorgeous picture! I want it over my bed. Perfect!

I have to cram in Internet stuff at odd times during the summer, so I'm looking forward to fall when I can just sit and linger. Summer is crazy!

Trying not to drown in reading and writing projects! BTW, I "followed" you on Twitter. If you're interested you can follow back. My username is MKDB. Tweet ya later!

I know how you feel. So much going on! Sometimes I wish for the days when I didn't have any work . . . and then I remember how scary that was and how much better it is to be busy!

I sure do understand feeling swamped. I was away for almost two weeks (half of that time unexpectedly) and find myself in the middle of catch up mode. And swamped. Take your time as life does makes demands. :)

I've been utterly useless in the blogoshpere. Majorly swamped, but thanks so much for checking on me.

I see things are fun as usual in here. When school's back in and the schedules more standard, I'm going to be needing some of the recipes.

Right now we're eating mostly air and thunder.
