Throw Me Somethin', Mista!

See me down in the bottom right corner of the photo, begging the Krewe members for some Mardi Gras beads?

Okay, it's not really me...but I am soliciting writing resources from y'all today, so if you know of a cool blog or website full of good nuggets, how 'bout throwin' 'em into a comment for the rest of us revelers?

As always, 'preciate ya, and have a great Wednesday. Would love to hear an update on your WIP progress too!

Super Cool Float!

Sorry I can't be of any help to you. I enjoy the blog, "Something She Wrote", but she's on a little blogging break.

WIP--coming along great--edits and all. Acutally liking my story since I haven't read it in over a month:) That's a relief.

Angie, I don't see The Literary Lab on your bloglist. You may want to check them out - http://literarylab.blogspot.com/

Hey there, Angie,

I LOVE visiting www.thecreativepenn.com
They routinely have tons of links to other sites, writing advice, etc. A virtual treasure trove!

My WIP is trying to get an agent via my snappy query letter which must not be as snappy as I think because I hear crickets chirping. Back to the editing board...

Fragrant Liar - http://fragrantliar.blogspot.com just posted a piece on writer's block.

I think I need to re-read it. Everytime I want to get back into my projects, more life overwhelms me. So it goes.

Nicola Morgan's Blog is fabulous. Very straight up, no nonsense advice, which spells out how to do things, and how not to do things!

Hmmmm. Well, I just don't know. I really like to read agent blogs because they have lots of info--especially if it's an agent you plan on querying. But it looks like you already have a lot of agent blogs you follow. Sigh.

Camy Tang has a helpful blog. It's called Story Sensei and she has all sorts of cool stuff up. :-)

Does anyone use "Your Writing Coach" by Jurgen Wolff? I picked up a copy in London and found it to be quite helpful.

trying to edit first half of the WIP...sometimes, though, things like peach milkshakes and The View seem more entertaining...

Other than the inside of my head, there are no resources that I use. This should open the gate on comments.

tdf, I know Janna's blog well. I miss her while she's been on haitus!

It's a wonder how putting it on back burner to simmer often helps us see it with new eyes, hunh, Terri?

Sandra, thanks, I visit LL often. :)

Thank you for the link, Scobber. Go fire up that query and I'll be sending good thoughts!

Midlife, gonna check that out!

...and that one too, Barb. Thanks.

BJ, agent blogs are always interesting to me.

'Preciate it, Jessica. :)

PW, I just left commentary on your Preacher Morsel blog. Thanks for the "hot" news. LOL

Ooo, good one, Melissa!

JKS, haven't heard of it. Shall do some checking. Thanky.

Now, Colby, quit pooting around and get busy! hehe

Oren, I'll refrain from commenting on your empty noggin. *grin*
