Raining Cats & Dogs

Ugly thunderstorms are rolling through *Red Stick right now, setting off Fresh Prince's truck alarm and such. Since lightning is striking all around, I'm not staying on the computer long.

Hope your week's a great one, and your local weather stays friendly.

Until tomorrow, all good things to you and your loved ones!

Ugh. We had so much rain last week and we're due for more later this week. Thankfully, tomorrow looks dry, so I should be able to get my golf in. Stay dry, Angie! At least w/weather like that I'm relegated to the indoors and lose some of my excuses for not writing!

LN, sending you some via "Air mail." :) Our thunder storm was short lived, so don't mind the lawn/flower watering a bit!

Hey, little Red Birdy, and thanks.

There's a great silver lining, Amy!

Hey.....I'm with ya! What comes at you gets me in few hours! We had a visit from Katrina's baby sister yesterday! 75 mile an hour winds and 4 and 3/4 inches of blowing rain!It stomed all night and look like it may fall out again any minute now! Stay safe!

Our weather is not too bright either. No thunderstorms (yet) but very bleak. Not fun.

I love thunderstorms! We had a whole series of them last Saturday. I had the screendoor open all day long so I could listen and smell the rain.

think of all the money you save by not having to water the lawn. it's suppose to be flirting with triple digits here by wednesday... hot and sunny is such a boring forecast

Angie Ledbetter said...

Carol, hope Katrina's little sis din't pitch a *itch down there on y'all. We're all clear now.

Hugs back, Janna. :)

Lori, perfect writing weather, methinks.

Ditto, Melissa. Nothing sweeter than the sound of a nice rain on a tin roof!

Jill, so true. We're well-watered now for at least a week. LOL

The thing I love about rain is the sound, smell, and that cozy feeling of being inside and dry. But when it's sunny, I love being outside. Michigan is 70 today, sunny and bright! Happy moments to you Angie!

A rainy Monday, what could be more perfect? A good day to cook a big pot of Cajun food and catch up on my reading. At least the storms waited until after the festivals.

It's bright and shiny here, but I've heard about your storms. Stay safe and cozy! :)

Happy Monday! Have a great week!

We have been socked in for days and days. My husband noticed yesterday that we mostly slept and ate all weekend. I'm still not sure why that wasn't a positive.

Hope your week is wonderful.. and somewhat dryer. :)

It's so hot and gorgeous here. Storms are fun too, though. Stay safe. :-)

HI there. I love the picture you found for this post. Haas been raining like monsoon season in Houston, but things are greener for it. The lake in the park next to us is full... by August it can get way too low, so for now, grateful for that.

Hi Angie, glad you came by for a visit. I know what you mean about the thunderstorms. We were in Dallas saturday not far from the Cowboy's training camp when that wind got their building. And the lightening was wild. But we did make it home safe. Hugs***Renea

Sydney, thanks for visiting. Your surroundings sound lovely!

Glad you made it through safely, Sydney! I read about the tragedies at the training camp. :( Thanks for dropping by.

Thunderstorm - perfect reason to curl up with a book. Hopefully time allows.

Ooh. Curl up with a book. What a great idea. We're having a resurgence of late winter up here - no snow, but icy rain today. I hope your storms have passed by now.

Angie Ledbetter said...

Midlife, we both have some down time coming to us!

I don't know how y'all stand all that cold, Sandra! brrrrr (In May???)
