Let's get this party started! (Are you as tired of that worn out saying as I am?) In any case, happy Monday. I'm particularly happy today after the bad-thing-that-coulda-been-much-worse that happened over the weekend.
First, thanks to Jessica at BookingIt for a nifty-fied blogging award. One made even better by the fact that I'm not sure I'm pronouncing it correctly. *smile* I do appreciate it, though, and you can see it newly displayed over yonder on the sidebar!
Here be the award 411 and rules:
Premio-Dardas: "This award 'acknowledges the values that every Blogger displays in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values with each message they write. Awards like this have been created with the intention of promoting community among Bloggers. It's a way to show appreciation and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web."
1. Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who granted it to you, along with his/her blog link.
1. Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who granted it to you, along with his/her blog link.
2. Pass the award to (15) other blogs that you feel are worthy of this recognition. Remember to contact each of them to let them know they have been chosen as recipients. [This is the hard part. How to choose amongst friends?]
Kathryn, whose blog TENDER GRACES shows us the possibilities of getting a wonderful book published. (Plus, I like her wanky posts.)
Melissa, because she's an encourager.
Travis and Kimmi of THE UNBREAKABLE CHILD, for the recent bad times they've experienced, and because I love their blogs.
Amy Sue Nathan. I love her parenting columns (see sidebar icon) and take on the writing life.
Colby...for her video expertise and off-the-wall posts.
To Tim Green of RATTLE. Love that publication and his editorial brilliance.
Terri needs one too, because she always thinks of others first.
And for the sheer pinkness of her blog, Ang.
Jenn Johansson also deserves some blog bling for sharing the writer journey.
Yeah, yeah, I picked more than 15, but y'all know I don't do maff, so tough tooters.

Congrats and thanks for the award Angie!
YAY! You gave Jenn an award! That's soo awesome! I love Jenn! And Congratulations, Miss Angie! I'm not surprised! Your blog is just awesome!
LOL I don't know how to pronounce it either, but I agree with giddy when she says your blog is awesome! It really is, and you're very faithful with posting. :-) I'm coming back later (after I vaccuum and do bills, lol) to check out those very interesting links!
Thank you for the award Angie. I do love my pinkness! I will post it proudly. And Congrats to you. I truly enjoy your blogspot each and every day.
Bella, you deserve! Made me spew morning coffee (plus I'm stealing that court scene! Already got it cut and pasted into an email to self).
Thank you, giddy girl. :)
Sorry 'bout the chore list, Jessica. I tear mine up first thing each morning and get on to important stuff, like blogging. And thanks for the kind words.
Ang, thanks! :)
Dang it all - *teeheehee*
"An award, award award I got an award hot damn a major award"----taken from "Christmas Story" when the dad wins the lamp *laugh*

PS - I'm glad you received this award - you are deserving of it and I know you'd hate me saying that -- laughing...that's just another wonderful thing about you..
Aww, thanks, Angie! :-)
Thank you much and you deserve the award mostly for taking the time to list everyone else! That's a job--One I am guilty of not doing so well!! Thank you for your kind words!
Seeing, hearing and sharing, I love that! THANK YOU!!!
Thank you kindly, Angie--don't know if I know 15 people, but I'll try and find.
Congrats on your award. And I will have to come back here later and visit some of these fine folks that I do not know.
Andouille thank you for not giving us the award. As much as I love awards, I'll be up all night figuring out how to use your word.
(This will make no sense to most of your readers, but they're your readers, not mine, so what do I care?)
Ooh, I’m most honoured, merci beaucoup.
