October 19, 2008 Weekly Forecast

It's been a good week, with everyone in the family doing well, or at least holding their own. On the good news side of things, one of my sons has (he thinks) straight A's on his forthcoming report card, and the other just completed his Eagle Scout project yesterday! He also was awarded Student of the Month honors at their high school. Daughter is doing great at LSU and took the weekend to study for tests and proof an English paper. *Proud Mom here!*

I'm forecasting an even better week ahead with a big treat in the works for myself. (More about that later.) My writing group will convene at my house Wednesday night, and that's always something to look forward to. I need to do some catch-up house cleaning, but nothing horrific.

And you? What's the best and worst you see in your week ahead? May your "baddies" be small and your "goodies" large. And if not-so-good news comes your way, may you slide through it quickly!

Best: I start rehearsals at my community theatre for Scrooge! The Musical, which is always fun, and if I get lucky, maybe I get some good news for some agent subs I have out

Worst: I get bad (or NO!) news for agent subs! BOO!

Hey & *wink,* Kat.

Colby, the play sounds like a ball of fun. Hoping ALL news is good news this week for you.

You totally deserve those proud mom moments - wow!

I am going away for the weekend with two fellow writers, to write/retreat/laugh/caffeinate. Can't wait.

And it sounds like you're right to be a well pleased mom!

Good or bad could come in the way of news from the pub who has my full manuscript... though I don't expect it this week. I feel it'll still take awhile.

Good progress will continue to be made on our house this week, while the amount of work I'll have to put in myself will be "bad."

Thanks, Carrie. Hey...can I hide in your suitcase? ;)
Hope you have the most awesomest time!

Janna, I'm right proud of my kidlets. You just keep plowing ahead with your goals and they'll come to meet you soon!

Wow. Sounds like your kids give you a lot to be proud of! I'm psyching myself up to restart yoga this week (good and bad I suppose - the first class is always the gardest) and hoping for some happy agent news! We'll see!

Rachel, I won't lie. There's bad stuff and typical teen behaviors, but, man, I do like to wallow in the good times! ;) I'll keep my fingers crossed for your agent news!
