Missing You

Hello bloggy friends, and thanks to all of you who've checked in to see where I've been and if I'm okay!

I'm fine...just up to my eyeballs in alligators. {That's a local expression for handling a lotta problems at once.}   :)

I think of y'all every day, hoping you're all doing great, getting ahead, getting ready for the upcoming holidays and/or making progress on your writing projects.

I'll be back tomorrow with a new Boudreaux & Thibodaux joke. Until then, hug your loved ones and take care of YOU.

Huggage, Angie

I've missed you too, Angie! There was a hole in the universe without your unique voice to greet me. I hope your alligators lose all their teeth.

Kat - Ooooooo, that would be sooooooooooo heartwarming and yummy. A big fat-arse pan of risotto?? Hope we both get some relief soon!

Love ya.

Ditto Red Bird - I've especially missed reading your poetry. :)

Awwww, Stacy - How sweet, and what a nifty wish about the toothless gators. :) I've missed your calming, interesting blog too, my friend.

Thanks Hilary. I've missed my little virtual vacations via your awesome photography.

If there's anything you need, just say the words. Prayer is yours, and I have an ear to offer, too. Hugs.

You know that we expect a mess of good recipes to go with the jokes. No pressure.

Oh, my! Thrilled to meet you as I've been called a Gumbo Ya Ya by my neighbors all week for walkin' around on Sunday with a washer tub full of gumbo and letting them dish a meal or three into Tupperware and all kinda things. Hopefully all sanitized!!

As a displaced Monrovian, Neville High grad, and sometime N'Awlins woman, I hope we can keep in touch! I even have ex-classmates in your town!

Visit my blog when the alligators let ya.

Up to your EYEBALLS in alligators? That's not the way I heard it, Angie. It was... a bit earthier, as I remember :-)

I love that expression. I think I'll have to start using it. There's enough alligators around here. ;)

Angie, I hope everyone in your family is okay. YOU TOO! Hang in there, the holidays can be stressful. Take some time out for hot chocolate with some Bailey's in it. That's my fave during this time of year. ;-)

I HAVE missed you, Angie. Sorry I didn't check in via your blog, but know that I've been thinking of you up there in the Red Stick City and hoping you're okay. It's c-c-cold in NOLA right now, and Mom said that it snowed yesterday in BR. Can that be true?!

Take care of your sweet self - and have some gumbo, why dontcha? :-)

P.S. Btw, sorry I have yet to return those interview answers to you. My life has been crazier these last few months than I anticipated. Is is too late for them?

So very sorry to hear you are covered up in problems. You deserve a break from all those alligators.

Yep, my dad had a plaque in his office: "How can I drain the swamp, when I'm up to my ASS in alligators?" I finally asked him what it meant one day. Good stuff.
