Dr. Phil Says I'm What? (And Why I'm Twitching)

A little fun personality quiz of 10 questions at PsychCentral, supposedly first developed by Dr. Phil, for your Monday brain food. I scored a 45, so that puts me between Dr. Phil and Oprah. LOL.

The Lively Center of Attention: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

So, what's your personality type?

...and some writerly scoopage here at BookEnds Literary Agency's blog that might make you Twitch too. (Guess I gotta finally learn to Tweet. *sigh*)

LOL I scored a 41 and am the same as you. I would definitely say I'm NOT the center of attention though. LOL! I don't know if I'm lively or amusing either. Snort. But I like the kind, practical, considerate qualities. I'll take those. :-)

Very cool, Lori. :)

I got the same as you Angie, which is lovely company to be in!

Jessica, maybe it's the cool blogging ability that the quiz picked up on?

I'm a 35, the Loyal Friend. True.

I scored a 40: the Loyal Friend. One more and I would've been in your category. Here's what mine said and I believe it to be true... eerily true actually.

The Loyal Friend
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

Carrie & Lynnette, glad this quiz is turning out a little more reliable than some of the others I've posted. :)

Scored a 49.

Angie, you are like me, you don't tweet. Michael Hyatt gives out great advice on tweeting and how to use it. As for the twitch part; somehow that doesn't sit right with me--writers go through so much, I feel, but could be I'm not caffeined up enough to appreciate it.

I scored a 41 The Lively Center of Attention!

I'm still trying to figure out all the stuff with blogging and now Facebook. Tweet? Not sure if I can handle another techno contact project! Let us know how you do.

Angie Ledbetter said...

Barb, don't know how I missed your comment, but welcome to the friendly club. :)

Thanks much for the Tweeting tippage, Kimmi. Not surprised we have the same personality score.

Hey, Helen. Glad ya stopped in.

I just started twittering a couple of weeks ago, mainly to keep up with my agent who twitters A LOT! But now that I'm started, I'm realizing it's a lot of fun and not nearly as time consuming as blogging.

You are all those things and more, Angie!

I have a twitter account, but I wouldn't be pitching anything like that on there...nope...

I had a 37: The Loyal Friend

46! I guess I am a little more self-centered than you:))lol

Angie Ledbetter said...

Donna, I'll let ya know if I do it. May just be too much for me at this point with all I've got going on. :)

Of course you're a loyal friend, Bayou! You live here in the friendliest state around, dontcha? hehe

Red Bird, a little birdy told me it's true. :)

I'll call on ya if I get lost in Twitterville, Jody! LOL

Kathryn, I know you are, but what am I? (To quote Peewee Herman.) *grin*

You're welcome, Jeannette. I guess all us writer nuts fit the same shell.

Char, thanks. I thought it was pretty cool myself.

Glad you had fun with that little personality profile, Anita. :)

I scored a 44! That was fun! Thanks!

I got a forty. Only time I was happy with a 40 on a test. Got a lot of practice being unhappy with test scores. The same description as on the Chinese resturant menu.
Food again, go figure.

Oren, the quiz picked up that you (we) love food? :)

Loyal friend Liz...have you joined the Twitter Nation yet?

I was also the lively center of attention. Fun quiz! Thanks for sharing it.

Amie said...

I too am the Loyal Friend, which is pretty accurate I suppose, but I missed my actual score. Oh well.

Debbie said...

I am also the Lively Center 0f Attention. Now, how can so many of us be the center of attention? I'm going to have to take some action to get rid of some of this competition, obviously!

Anonymous said...

I'm a Loyal Friend too... and have to say that suits me very nicely! Thank you for sharing this Angie!

Angie Ledbetter said...

Lazy, you're welcome. Isn't it funny how many of us are coming up with similar personalities?

Welcome to the Loyal Friends Club, Amie. :)

Debbie, I knew you'd draw that card. Birds of a feather. :) Sorry 'bout the competition...but you can afford it with all those katrillion Followers. LOL *hugs*
